Logo ESREF 2027 Welcome to ESREF 2027

Join us in Toulouse for the 38th European Symposium on Reliability of Electron devices, Failure physics and analysis (ESREF 2027), organized by CNES in partnership with LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse and IMS Laboratory in Bordeaux.

For more than four decades, this conference series has brought together the international community of scientists, engineers and industry experts dedicated to understanding and mastering the reliability of Electron devices. The 2027 edition will be hosted at the Diagora Labège Congress Center closed to Toulouse, providing an pleasant setting for high-level scientific exchange from the 18th to 21st of October 2027.

This international symposium continues to focus on recent developments and future directions in Quality and Reliability Management of materials, devices and circuits for micro-, nano-, and optoelectronics. It provides a European forum for developing all aspects of reliability management and innovative analysis techniques for present and future electronic applications.

Hosting ESREF 2027 is a great opportunity since reliability in these applications is a very hot topic with strong challenges such as zero ppm failure and harsh environments. For this 38th edition, in addition to the core topics of the conference, we would like to involve the major actors of aeronautics, space and embedded systems industry to provide specific topics such as radiation hardening, very long-term reliability, high/low temperature challenges, obsolescence and counterfeit issues, wide band gap power devices for the more electric aircraft and other embedded system applications.

A large place will be given to exhibitors. The Symposium will feature the latest in-service providers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers in this field.

Toulouse is a global hub for the aerospace industry home to the Airbus assembly line, the European capital of the space industry and France’s leading center for embedded electronic systems. Toulouse, nicknamed the ‘Pink City’ due to its distinctive terracotta-brick architecture, combines a vibrant lifestyle with a prestigious history.

Beyond the technical sessions, the conference will provide multiple opportunities for networking and informal exchange, including social events. The historic city of Toulouse and its renowned cultural heritage will provide a pleasant setting for strengthening existing partnerships and forging new ones.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to a memorable experience!
